About

Paula de Motta is a Spanish artist. She was born in Valencia, by the Mediterranean sea, a place that she holds in her heart. She has lived abroad for over 10 years; in Italy, UK and South Korea, but she knows she will come back to her natal city. Her time in South Korea has been a time of change and adaptation, to a new culture, a new lifestyle and therefore, a time of personal growth too. 

Paula de Motta uses art as a way to connect with herself,  put aside standards and rules and let her heart take the lead.  She started painting at the age of 10 and painting has remained her passion throughout all her life. Paula's work is inspired by nature, women and always in line with her values in sustainability. In the last years, she started exploring different textures and techniques, she uses mixed technique that requires many layers. .

Paula has a Masters in Civil engineering from the Polyethnic University of Valencia and an MBA from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul; she previously worked in different roles as an engineer and manager in Spain, Italy, UK and South Korea. She now combines her passion painting and creating with her job as marketing and business development director in a sustainability company. In addition to painting, Paula loves to travel, discover new places and cultures, which are also a source of inspiration, spend time with her family and is always looking to start something new.
